Hello, and welcome to my Linux pages!  Here you will find all the worthwhile places I have been in my Open-Source journey.  You may occasionally see a rant about some of the bad things that SCO and other people are trying to do to the Open Source Community, and you will certainly encounter my crude attempts at Linux advocacy and evangelism.

Check out the FAQ for answers to those questions I've been asked most often.  Your question may be answered there...  you never know.

When you get through with that, and want more, you'll find plenty of crunchy Linux goodness here - check out both the Frequently Visited Links and Other Linux Links for more places packed with  useful info about my favorite operating system.

The University of Southern Mississippi has a very active Linux Users' Group, with membership open to all people who live in the greater Hattiesburg area.  If you are looking for a LUG here in Hattiesburg, I'd recommend you check them out.  Links are given to upcoming USM LUG events and their excellent mailing list.

HubLUG was the Hub City Linux Users' Group, a group I started several years ago which didn't survive for various reasons...  For more about this now-defunct group and what you can do to bring it back to life yet again, click on Whither HubLUG at left.

Need help with a Linux installation, or with post-install configuration?  You're not by yourself.  If you don't find the answer here or at one of the sites linked from here, drop me a line by email and I'll see if I can help you out.  (Disclaimer:  I'm still a newless cluebie myself - I might not know any more than you do about the problem.  All I will guarantee is that I'll try to help.)
