Bálesh hiFesrengála - Administrative Priest of  Karakán, Temple of Béy Sü

Oldest brother to Tsurána hiFesrengála Bálesh hiFesrengála, 30, is a mid-level administrative priest of Karakán in Béy Sü. He is married to Paluél hiVraisúna. 

 
Chargésh hiFesrengála - Administrative Priest of  Keténgku

 Chargésh hiFesrengála, 59,  grandfather of  Aknallu hiHkétoketl ,was an administrative priest of Keténgku and spent much of his youth in Tumíssa. He is now the clan librarian and maintains the secret blueprints of buildings built by the clan over the millennia.

 
Gayésha hiFesrengála - Twin sister of Tsurána hiFesrengála

Twin sister to Tsurána hiFesrengála, twenty years old, Gayésha hiFesrengála is a good clan-girl, married to Dáitlan hiHkétoketl, twenty-eight summers, a mid-level official in the Palace of Foreign Realms in Béy Su. 

 
Jarítlü hiFesrengála - Ritual Priest of Belkhánu, Temple ofBéy Sü

Father of Tsurána hiFesrengála, Jarítlü hiFesrengála is a forty-six year old upper-middle level ritual priest in the temple of Belkhánu in Béy Sü. His wife is Cháidra hiTlakán. They have five children. 

 
Keterlál hiFesrengála - Scholar Priest of  Thúmis - Grandfather of Tsurána hiFesrengála - Clan Elder

Keterlál hiFesrengála is the sixty-nine year old grandfather of Tsurána hiFesrengála. He is now one of the clan elders, but in his youth was a Scholar-Priest of  Thúmis. He devotes most of his time to the clan now

 
Mayán hiFesrengála - Heréksa, Aridáni Legion of Lady Mríssa

Mayán hiFesrengála, twenty-three years old, is the older sister of Tsurána hiFesrengála. She is a Heréksa in the Aridáni Legion of Lady Mríssa. She is a follower of Lady Hriháyal. Her legion was most recently posted to Khirgár.

 
Sromátlan hiFesrengála - Kuruthúni, The Legion of the Mighty Prince, Fifth Heavy Infantry

Sromátlan hiFesrengála, 18, is the youngest brother of Tsurána hiFesrengála. He is a follower of Chegárra and Kuruthúni in the Legion of the Mighty Prince, Fifth Heavy Infantry. He hasn't returned from Chéne Hó yet.

 
Nirunel hiHkétoketl - Lay Priest of  Chegárra , Temple of Béy Sü

Aknallu's father is Nirunel hiHkétoketl ,39, an upper-middle lay priest of Chegárra in Béy Sü. He is a trusted advisor and builder for the temple properties in Béy Sü, Tumíssa and Khirgár. Because of his many travels and repairs to these buildings it is said that he knows many of the secret structures in the temples and the underground. He is married to Aliná hiVráisu. They have had seven children (the quintuplets, Tiana, and Aknallu.)

 
The Quintuplets hiHkétoketl 

The firstborn of Nirunel hiHkétoketl and Aliná hiVráisu were quintuplets. The priests of Sárku soon arrived at the clanhouse doors and claimed the children for their dark god. No one speaks openly of this event.

 
Tiána hiHkétoketl

Tiána hiHkétoketl,18, is Aknallu's younger sister. She is a follower of Dlamélish and lives at that temple with her priest husband from the Golden Lintel clan. She has started to take up the money lending trade of her husband's clan, much to the chagrin of her mother.

 
Kalusü hiSóruna - Aridani

The daughter of Shanu hiSóruna and Dridákku hiVraisúna, Kalusü is a free spirit of nineteen summers.  She has been Aridani for several years now, and uses her mother's lineage name.  Occasionally, she helps with clan business, but lately she seems to spend most of her time keeping company with Ráyana hiTlélsu, a lay-priestess of Thumis whose poetry is becoming fashionable in some quarters. 

 
Kérek hiSóruna - Lay Priest of Qón

An elder of the Sóruna lineage.  A lay-priest of Qón who worked in the Palace of the Priesthoods of the Gods for many years.  He is quite annoyed by Srúma's poor performance in the temple, and sees little value in his current efforts.  He never fails to find fault when Srúma conducts rites in the clanhouse.  He would be happy to send "that lazy sailorboy" off on some unpleasant errand.  Resides at the Golden Dawn Clanhouse in Béy Sü.

 
Mísa hiSóruna - Second wife of Dridákku hiVraisúna

Second wife of the late Dridákku hiVraisúna and mother of Srúma hiSóruna.  She is forty-three, a clanswoman of few accomplishments -- she helps with the accounts. She had a somewhat dissipated youth, and produced two sons of uncertain paternity, Srúma and Núromen.  Later became second wife to Dridákku hiVraisúna (at age twenty-five), and bore him three children: Tálodel (female, age fifteen), Nirún (male, twelve), and Mikúsa (female, ten).

 
Núromen hiSóruna - Merchant

Twenty-Seven year-old eldest son of Mísa hiSóruna (father uncertain).  Works as a merchant in Béy Sü.  Ambitious, very status-conscious.  Married an Aridani priestess of Avanthé, has several children.

 
Shánü hiSóruna - "Mother" of Srúma hiSóruna (Deceased)

Srúma's late (non-biological) mother.  An older cousin of Mísa's. A cheerful clanswoman, with a particular interest in flowers and gardening. Like her cousin Mísa, she was a mother of five.  Died "of a wasting disease" (probably cancer) two years ago at age forty-three.

 
Túrisan hiSóruna - Estate Manager

Twenty-nine year-old eldest son of Shánü hiSóruna (father uncertain).  Estate manager in Onéli, a town two days downriver from Béy Sü. Quite respectable, with a small family.

 
Chashana hiTlakan - "Good Clan Girl"

Linatla hiTlakan's second mother, Mriktoken's first wife, is Chashana.  Beautiful, but self-absorbed and shallow.  Clan gossip has that she chewed lisutl for years behind her husband's back so as not to be burdened with a pregnancy.  Kemuel came along quickly, but she's had none since.

 
Gúbanu hiTlakán - Shipping Overseer

He oversees most of the clan's shipping and transportation concerns, contracting with the Red Flower, Blazoned Sail, and Turning Wheel clans to move large cargos. Srúma hiSóruna has been helpful to him.  Lives at the Golden Dawn Clanhouse in Béy Sü.

 
Kemuel hiTlakan - Clerk

Linatla hiTlakan's brother is twenty-two year old Kemuel, the only son of Mriktoken hiTlakan and Chashana hiTlakan. He's a low-level bureaucrat at the Palace of the Realm.

 
Layeth hiTlakan - Good Clan Girl

Linatla hiTlakan's mother is Layeth hiTlakan, age thirty-nine, a good clan girl who married early, produced a daughter quickly but was not able to become pregnant again, a source of depression for her.  She nearly suffered a nervous breakdown on the news of her husband's death, and is a quiet, withdrawn person today.

 
Mridok hiTlakan (Deceased) - Temple Guard of Thumis

Linatla'hiTlakan's father is Mridok hiTlakan, who died about three years ago at the age of forty-three.  Layeth was his only wife.  During the civil war, he was summoned to serve in the Legion of the Lord of Wisdom, 22nd Heavy Infantry, and lost his life in an ensuing battle.  He had been a loyal, unassuming husband and worker.

 
Mriktoken hiTlakan - Bureaucrat

Linatla hiTlakan's other father, Mridok's brother, is Mriktoken, a forty-seven year old, mid-level bureaucrat in the Palace of the Realm.  Brash, opportunistic, despises his brother and his brother's family.  Has two wifes, Chashana and Chitlasha, and several concubines but only one son, Kemuel.

 
Odusúna hiTlakán - Paramour of Srúma hiSóruna

One of Srúma hiSóruna's myriad cousins, and his current love interest.  She is a bit younger than he is and was flattered by the attention.  Now she is his number-one defender, even when he doesn't need defending...  Lives at the Golden Dawn Clanhouse in Béy Sü.

 
Sidla hiTlakan - Tenth Circle Ritual Priestess of Thumis

Linatla hiTlakan's grandmother, Layeth's mother, is Sidla hiTlakan, sixty-one, still an active Ritual Priestess of Thumis, Tenth Circle.  She lives at the temple, and is not as deeply involved in clan affairs as one her age might be if she were retired and concentrating solely on the clan.

 
Aliná hiVráisu - Wife of Nirunel hiHkétoketl 

Aknallu's mother is Aliná hiVráisu from Khirgár. She met and married Nirunel hiHkétoketl when he was assigned to the temple of Chegárra in Khirgár. She is a devout follower of Avánthe and helps to keep the tax records of the clanhouse.

 
Chégukkal hiVraisúna - Kasi, Eighth Imperial Artillery (Reserves)

Twenty-seven year-old eldest son of Shánü hiSóruna and the late Dridákku hiVraisúna.  Kasi in the reserves, Eighth Imperial Artillery.  Cheerfully corrupt.  Keeps a wife and two concubines, and several children.

 
Dridákku hiVraisúna - Tirrikámu, Eighth Imperial Artillery (Deceased)

Srúma hiSóruna's late (non-biological) father.  A Tirrikámu in the Eighth Imperial Artillery (the Legion of Káingmra of Béy Sü).  Killed in a training accident ten years ago (at age thirty-two).  Married Shánü hiSóruna, and then her cousin Mísa hiSóruna. 

 
Gayán hiVraisúna - Child

Youngest child of Shánü hiSóruna and Dridákku hiVraisúna, he is thirteen years old.  An ill-mannered youth, he is being raised by Mísa, his father's second wife.

 
Mikúsa hiVraisúna - Child

Ten-year old daugher of  Mísa hiSóruna and Dridákku hiVraisúna.  The baby of the family, a bit spoiled by her mother.

 
Nirún hiVraisúna - Child

 Twelve-year old Son of  Mísa hiSóruna and Dridákku hiVraisúna.  He and his brother Gayán get each other in all kinds of trouble.

 
Paluél hiVraisúna - Second Wife of Bálesh hiFesrengala

Twenty-three year-old eldest daughter of Shánü hiSóruna and Dridákku hiVraisúna.  Second wife of Bálesh hiFesrengala, a mid-level administrative priest of Kárakan in Béy Sü.  Attractive and clever, has two daughters.

Daughter of Mísa hiSóruna and Dridákku hiVraisúna, fifteen years old.  A "good clan-girl", somewhat plain.  Betrothed to a soldier in the Legion of the Ruby Hand.

 Son of Shánü hiSóruna and Dridákku hiVraisúna, twenty-one years old.  A merchant, newlywed to a girl from Silver Collar clan.
