vieweast2
Photo taken early 1900s.

This picture looking east on Main Street was taken from midway up Main Street. Structures that can be identified are beginning with the foreground on the north side of the street: a store owned by various merchants, among them Brinson and Lee; F. L. Riley Mercantile; the hotel. The depot, barely visible, stands at the east end of the street. Structures that can be identified on the south side of the street beginning with those in the foreground are: Seay Drug Store; Ellis Brothers Store; Gibson's General Store; the bank; and Donald's Store.
