SECOND NEW HEBRON SCHOOL BUILDING

This picture of the new New Hebron School was taken around 1950. Built in 1928, the school, located at the west end of Main Street, saw nearly half a century of students go from first grade to twelfth grade. It was torn down to make room for a new modern facility, thus ending an era remembered by hundreds as a special part of their lives. It was a landmark of community education.
