Laying of the Cornerstone:
Cornerstone placed into position by the Pastor, J. B. Watkins, and the Building Committee Chairman, Clyde Dampeer.
As our Lord Jesus Christ is the Chief Cornerstone of our salvation and Liberty, as the Holy Spirit hath revealed Him to us, and as God the Father in Love hath conceived and promulgated the whole glorious scheme of human redemption, we, therefore, lay the Cornerstone of the meeting house of the New Hebron Baptist Church in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Take heed therefore that the Cornerstone of your faith shall ever be Jesus Christ, the Son of God, our Savior
