A Special Note

Jack and Audrey Sirman, two long-time S*rm*n Family researchers, sent me the following information concerning the help that they received from Lucille as they were beginning their research on the S*rm*n family.

"Lucille knew someone in the Pine Bluff, Arkansas, area. She knew that this person had a relative by marriage named Sirman. This was our daughter-in-law, Karen Sirman, living in Baton Rouge. Lucille sent Karen a letter and Karen sent it on to us because she knew that we had 'dabbled' in a small way in Sirman genealogy. This was in the early 1990's and we were living in Beaumont, Texas, at that time. We corresponded with her many, many times. Over the past years, we had visited with her and her husband, Gilbert. She led the way for us to meet three other cousins that were working on the S*RM*N family line. We will dearly miss her and her guidance in our novice years of genealogy research. "
