Russ Sirmon was one of the early participants in the S*rm*n Family DNA Project. He was interested in his family history and decided on his own to become a participant in the DNA project by ordering his test kit soon after seeing the results of the project. His results will forever be available to his immediate family and all the many descendants of the family ancestor, Edward, who came to the Eastern Shore of Virginia about 1648.
