Once again, a photo from the repository. Absolutely no info available save from the image itself, which is a shot of the Berlin Potsdamer Platz railway station. I did notice some other info that showed Berlin as a vibrant. bustling metropolis. Three times during the day, I've scrapped away sections of the granite stucco paint. And slowly, it is disappearing. But the wall will have to have a new coat of heavy-duty primer applied - one that is designed to thoroughly cover an old surface. A friend and I decided to try P. F. Chang's China Bistro., again. Outside are two magnificient terracotta horses slightly larger than life-size. I wondered if they were replicas of figures from the Terracotta Army of the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor - Qin Shi Huang ((259 BCE – September 10, 210 BCE), but they appear more polished. The closest image I can find is at Decorated terracotta figure of a horse, China, Tang Dynasty 618-907 CE, which would be about 800 years later, at least. The restuarant has some magnificient-looking circular wall medallions, which made me curious if an attempt was made to be consistent in the decorations with a particular time-frame. Alas, I did not see anything that mentioned the origins. The restaurant also has a revolving door, and I can not think when was the last time I'd seen or used one. This time abound, I had one of the specials - prawns, which were incredible. One of the best dishes I've encountered. Of course, by now, I had my customary sinus/allergy/migrane headache. I put a blanket into the wash. Scrapped a section of the wall. And hung a wind chime I bought a few days ago. Then I was forced to have a lie-down and slept for several hours. Once up, I had a did din of broiled seasoned chicken, vegetables, and a slice of frozen chololate pie. And I found myself watching a French film on Sundance - "Alice et Martin". I stopped and came in to work on the computer, but then I was curious to see what happened, so I returned and watched it until the end Part of the master plane for refurbishing the house is to add actual book cases, instead of the storage cubes I have, to the living room. So I looked at the web sites for Lowe's, Ikea, Crate and Barrel, and a number of independents. But I came away very confused. .
