Rain - Arizona Coffee

For my first entry in a month, I thought I'd look for a new rain image. This one is from Arizona Coffee. A site whose aim is

"Arizona Coffee exists to spread the word about independent coffee shops in Arizona. More often than not I end up at a coffee house on a Saturday afternoon and the best thing in the world is good atmosphere, and good coffee. A review can mean anything between a brief visit and opinion to a full blown analysis of coffee quality and preparation."

What an interesting idea. Ten years ago, there was not a coffee shop around, now there are dozens with names that all sound alike. Alas, coffee is not my cup of tea. My cup of tea is tea. I've actually for no particular reason, not had a Coke in about two years. I have a case of six in the frig that has been there for months.

Web Revisions

January has been wet, chilly and dreary. And my money situation has been the worst ever - I have 81 cents in the bank.

The weather has restricted my outside work. But I am slowly scrapping paint from the back which is the longest side

I've stopped everything inside because I could not afford to buy the wall paint. And to be honest, I AM STILL dillydalling about the color. And whether I should or should not paint the trim.

So I have by chance spent a lot of time working on the web site. I reworked all the pensive guy pages, so you can move from page to page like a slide-show presentation; finished Thom Yorke and Rufus Wainwright's pages; added some more images to Jason Behr and Elijah Wood's pages; and have collected some additional Christian Bale photos that have yet to be formatted

I've redone the lyrics, quotes, and rain speak sections, so that each section has an index page, with the entries on separate pages. These are also set up so you move from page to page.

There have been a number of news articles that I've saved onto my site and made reference to in the journal. It is not unusual for an article to disappear after a couple of months. (In fact, as I worked on this, I noticed a number of the originals had vanished.) I've created an index page for the articles with the entries on separate pages. Again, you can move easily from page to page.

Except for the news articles, all the sections have had an index pages, but these have now been re-formatted and icons added for each listing.

The home page has undergone some minor changes - a simpler format, icons and horizontal designation lines.

The biggest change has been the addition of CSS formatting to all the text pages. Instead of single spacing between horizontal lines, I've increased the spacing to 150%, which makes for much easier reading.
