Morning and log files and enhanced history manager

I think I got up at 8:30-ish and went back to bed at 10:30-ish. But I'm not sure about that. I do know that I did the standard kitty duties.

But beyond that, nothing sticks. I think I've been misreading the log files at Administrative Tools - Event Viewer - Security. The log file says I turned on the computer at 08:48:08 and the turn-off was completed at 10:30:02.

I'd made a comment a few days ago about wanting a better history file. Firefox offers an array of add-ons at Firefox Add-ons. If you wade search under history, you'll find "Enhanced History Manager 0.5.8.05.1." One thing I noticed is that the screen shots are far more elaborate than what I have. I'm not sure how to activate those options.

Anyway, it does give a more comprehensive listing of the history file. The traditional history file only gives the name of the site. The enhanced gives name, site location and date and time visited.

But it indicates that during the period listed under the log files, I didn't go on the web. Which then begs the question: what was I doing?

The only way I'm ever going to solve this is to keep a Wordpad log of when and what.

Morning and Plan 59 - "Perry Mason" and "The Avengers" - Lotus Elan S2/S3

Wait a minute, I don't even think I turned on the laptop this morning. I spent about an hour balancing the checkbook over the phone assistance line and writing checks. And, of course, moving cats off the desk.

Yesterday when I took my friend to pick up his care, he mentioned that Plan 59 - the museum (and gift shop) of mid-century illustration which I'd discovered in looking for images of the 1959 Crown Imperial, he mentioned that they had added a section on "The cars of "Perry Mason" (See "Perry Mason."

I then make a comment or two about what I remembered about the cars of "The Avengers" in the several books I have. So I spent about 30 minutes looking through the books. By the way, Mrs. Peel drove a Powder blue Lotus Elan S2 for the monochrome series and a S# for the colour series.

Tired

I'm feeling tired and it's almost midnight, so I'm stopping for the eve.
