The famous and evil Norwalk virus- prototype virus of the genus Norovirus of the family Caliciviridae

From the Wednesday, January 24, issue of the on-line "San Francisco Chronicle: Troubled voyage for the QE2

(01-24) 15:27 PST -- The Queen Elizabeth 2, the 38-year-old grand dame of ocean liners, sailed under the Golden Gate Bridge this morning after a troubled voyage from the East Coast. After leaving Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on Jan. 10, more than 300 passengers and crew members came down with norovirus, a contagious flu-like disease. The most serious outbreak was among the passengers -- 276 of the 1,652 travelers, or 16.7 percent, came down with symptoms. The other 28 affected were crew members.

Wikipedia has a good explanation of the infamous and evil Norwalk virus group - prototype virus of the genus Norovirus of the family Caliciviridae.

Now, what does this have to do with anything. As of early Monday morning, I feel as if I've been one of the infected QE2 passengers.

I think I can safely said that I feel better this evening.

Although, have looking in the bathroom mirror, I thought of the following scene from Act 1 of "Hamlet":

HAMLET
His beard was grizzled--no?

HORATIO
It was, as I have seen it in his life,
A sable silver'd.

PAX!
