Headache; Deacquisition

Headache

Chinese Symbols for Headache
Yesterday and today, the weather has been warm, almost on the verge of hot. I noticed on my clock that shows the temp inside and out that both were the same.

It also feel like there is some odd confluence of climate conditions that usually indicates rain, but in this case, there is none.

All in all, it has given me a headache. One in which I feel as if I'm on a boat that is slowly undulating on the tide.

Earlier, I took a Gentex LA for congestion and two Levacet for headaches. Then I had a nap of about an hour. And with the sliced turkey and cheese sandwich I ate for din din, I downed a G.E. Alprazolam for panic attacks, because I felt the tingle of the start of one. And I guess I feel slightly better. I'll do another round of Levacet shortly.

The Chinese characters to the left are those for "headache."

Deacquisition

Plastic Tub
After almost a year, I've decided it's time I went through a process of deacquisition. To wit: clear off the sundry and various items that I've stored on the carport and in the backroom.

I'm no closer to having a garage sale that I was 18 months ago. Plus at this point, everything on the carport has been exposed to the elements. So it will either go in the trash or to the Gateway Rescue Mission store.

Within the last week or so, I've taken them two large garbage bags of books, and about six boxes and bins of pots, pans, puzzles, cloth samples, wrenches, and sewing items. I tried to give them a batch of holiday decorations, but they said it would not last in the warehouse.

I get the impression that a lot of what people donate goes into the trash. There are two huge dumpsters, at least 12-feet high, at the delivery entrance. And every time I've been, they appear to be filled to capacity.

The front part of the store seems to be quasi-organized. Behind it is a warehouse in which some items have been sorted; but there's another area to the side for just-delivered items; and several areas that are cordoned off. Of course, these areas are lit by three or four 40 watt bulbs.

You're not going to find any treasures here, because anytime something like that shows up, it goes to one of the local antique dealers.

Actually, I'd like to reach a point at which only furniture and fairly decent items are left. If I had a camera, I could take photos and try hawking them on eBay.
