contours provocations

On the right side of the roof was a 1/2-life-sized display of Santa and his sleigh. On the left. in three-foot high letters were the words "Merry Christmas." I started my ten-day supply of Levaquin 750 on Thursday, December 14. And I kept having terrible panic attacks that I was not going to get better, and I was taking one or two xanax a day. Finally by the tenth day, my body had calmed down, and I felt better. But then I noticed for several days, if I did any physical activity, I almost immediately had fever. So I've learned to be careful about everything I do. I managed to spend some of my few remaining dollars yesterday and today at WalMart. No dizziness. No fatigue. No fever. Now if everything in mind, body and spirit will stabilize for awhile, just maybe I'll be ok. As I mentioned before, I've been updating and revising the main components of the web site: index, parts of the journal, the main journal archives page, rain speak, Blacklash, Ask Dr. Laura, quotes, and lyrics. For about a month, until I started working on the "pensive guys" section, I was backtracking through the journal pages to check for consistency of look, using a spell checker for the first time, and eliminating the various sections that never were very meaningful. I think I'm at the beginning of July. I've also tried categorizing my bookmarks. I might have five or six sites marked for the same person and not realize it. I've had a major category called "Celebrities," so I wanted to add subcategories for different people. Far more trouble than you would think. And you can forget drag and drop over any distance exceeding the height of the screen. The biggie has been the "pensive guys" section. This is the first time since I left the professional wacky world of web coordinating that I've done anything this involved. I'd forgotten what a fucking pain it can be at times. The number one headache is that I keep encountering web pages that give the following message: "A script on this page is causing mozilla to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?" I've researched this on the web, and it is not limited to mozilla, but seems to effect every browser and also occurs in linux. There are lots of suggestions, but I've found no certain answer. I have always used Netscape, even before Microsoft Explorer existed, and I'm now on version 8.1.2 which is based on Firefox and Mozilla 5.0. I did re-discover, because I think I have a vague recollection of this from the past, is that you can type in "about:config" in the URL bar and receive a gigantic list of over 800 configurations. And most are in the most cryptic of terms. So I have yet to resolve this problem. Since I'm using plain, ordinary html without css, traditional terms are used that may or may not translate across browsers. I ran into a problem with wanting a border around the photos. No problem with Explorer. But no border under Mozilla. I finally compromised by changing some of the color combinations. It would have also helped if I thought about the fact that Adrien Brody's name is not spelled Adrian Brody. I only figured this out after I'd used Adrian on every page and every file name. I really like the layout and the photos. And I need to add a link to the pages that tell something about the person. You may know who Colin Farrell is, but not be familiar with Thom Yorke. I bumbled on a fascinating site called Technical Advisory Service for Images. The link leads to a page that offers "A Review of Image Search Engines." If you're wondering who Steve Burns is, he is the former host of the very prominent early childhood tv program called "Blues Clues". Once upon a time when I ate at a specific Chili's on a regular basis, and had a terrible over-aged schoolboy crush on the manager who was from London, "Blues" would be on the in-house tv system. The first time I saw Steve, I thought who is this guy: he is so expressive and cute as can be. In an article from Wikipedia on Steve Burns: "According to a 15 minute documentary on Nickelodeon, titled "The 10 years of Blue", Burns left Blue's Clues because he was losing his hair and he did not want kids to know he was going bald." The article also tells on some of his post "Blues" activities. Below is a short film from YouTube called "Steve Burns: Hot Pants: Enchilada Surprise," in which Steve plays Ben, a man having a very bad first date.
PAX!
