Brad Pitt Art Film

Below is the famous cover of Brad Pitt on the December copy of "Vanity Fair," supposedly their first art issue. The cover is a photo from an art film that Brad did for avant-garde artist Robert Wilson. Brad claims he was unaware that a still from the shoot would wind up as a magazine cover. "Vanity Fair" claims they notified him after they obtained rights to Wilson's entire collection of videos. More info: Pitt Furious over 'Vanity Fair' Cover.

I also was able to find a truncated version of the art film. Again, I saw the complete video within the last couple of weeks, but I can't locate it now.

This is obviously a case for high-priced lawyers with expertise in intellectual property rights. (Ten years or so ago, Brad sued "Playgirl" for publishing some paparazzi photos of him in the nude. Two thousand years ago, he would have been considered the earthly embodiment of Apollo. If there was ever a classical body, it's his.)
