"Mad about the boy I know it's stupid to be mad about the boy (Daniel Radcliffe)" (Lyrics by Noel Coward)

Speaking of Daniel and "Equus" on Saturday, I'd meant to mention how very appealing I find him. It's a combination of the creamy complexion, the azure eyes and the foppish hair. There's something about long-haired English boys that "attack my imagination."

Well, this gives me a reason to post a couple of photos. I'm especially drawn to shots in which the person appears pensive, slightly melancholy, distant. Shot one fits that description.

The second photo is definitely a mystery because Daniel appears to be almost nude. I'm definitely puzzled by what the context would have been. And I have no idea where I got it. It certainly does not show up on a Google image search. Maybe the solution adheres to Occam's razor; he wanted some semi-nudes, and some how one made it to the net.

Sunday Lunch

A friend and I had lunch Sunday at our standard location. Halfway through the meal, he pointed out a solitary Marine dressed in desert camouflage and commented that it was unusual to see one alone. But then in thinking of my daily lunch, when I notice service personnel, there is always a covey of them; never one alone. This Marine had blond-white very short hair and could have been 25 or 45 with a profile that would do justice to a golden coin. I refused to let my prurient interest go any further.

Soon my friend make a remark about someone behind me that he knew from the gym and how attractive he found him and his twin. My friend suddenly decided it was time to adjust his chair to have a better view of the room. Then after ten minutes, my friend goes to the bath, and I request the check. He returns and asks about the check. My tart response was, "If I don't get you out of here, you're going to wind up with whiplash!"

Sunday and Yesterday

Sunday I could feel the typical sinus/migraine (pronounced "me' grain") sneaking up on me. So I took a combination of pharmaceuticals and slept a lot. Yesterday, it was back, so I rested most of the day and again this morning, but I have felt better this afternoon. (The fact that I can come up with a journal entry indicates that.)

I do wish these would go bother someone else. When they hit, I can't do anything. I feel so drained and exhausted. And my brain patterns are foggy. I do believe that it was the headaches that were the culprit the last ten years or so and not sinus infections. Because these go away without antibiotics. Although I do think there might be some type of 48-72 hour virus in the mix.

Forums and Comments

Many sites offer the reader the opportunity to add a comment via a forum or a comment section.

These vary from the civilized to the totally inane. Much of this depends if there is a moderator present. This is just a sample of some I glance at.

For example, Television Without Pity is fairly strict about obnoxious behaviour. Alas, the same questions do get asked over and over. And if I read one more comment about someone's hair, I'll vomit. They're playing a role, their hair MIGHT have something to do with the role.

IMDB is very much of a mix -bag. Far too many of the commentators are really not familiar with the movie making process. Lots of questions such as "How far does the Sexuality/nudity go?" "Rip of (insert show)." "Can Will Ferrell make a film without destroying it?"

As intriguing as I find YouTube, the comments are unbelievable. There's a version of James Blunt's "You're Beautiful" with around 350 comments. Especially disturbing are the derogatory terms for gays; also racial minorities. Some of these people need serious help.
