Bookmarks; Cutting and Pasting; Dearth of Rain

When I awoke this morning, not good, I felt. So I stayed home with the intention of resting. But anytime, I have some type of infection, I always feel edgy and jumpy and achy and irritable. So resting is marked by a desire to go polish the silver. And sleeping proves illusive.

I finaly decided I'd open the laptop and clean up the bookmarks under Netscape. What a tangled mess. I'd already established some folders, but the real problem was with the several hundred bookmarks not attached to a category. I worked for awhile, then felt fatigue creeping up on me. Tried to rest but to no avail. Then hit the bookmarks again. It's not perfect, but it's certainly more organized than it was.

One of the neat-o things of doing this is re-discovering places you'd forgotten about.

Need a quick answer to a guestion? Then try Answers.com. I put in the term "Atom Bomb" and got answers in the following categories: Dictionary, Modern Science, Encyclopedia. Politics, WordNet, Translations (of term into other languages).

One of most beautiful sites I've encounter is The Monastery of Christ in the Desert. A religious site more concerned with community than dogma.

Another site that I find very attractive is Marlene.com Home Page.

As I was cutting and pasting, I thought about how I wished there was some way to select multiple disconnected items from a page at one time, then paste to a single or multiple locations.

Somewhere I've seen something about that.

Have I mentioned how much I dislike daylight savings time? I mean any more that 500 or 600+ times. It finally got dark around 9. I like the idea of darkness descending on the earth at 7 or so.

And when is it going to rain? Too long without. A direct result of nuclear testing in the 50s, I'm certain.

PAX!
