Deserted; Repressed Photos; Stud Muffins vs. Big Brother

The end of a long day. I wish the cats would wait till a civilized hour to demand breakfast. 5:30 am is not civilized.

I went downtown this morning to visit the credit union. Other than the main streets, the area seems deserted of pedestrians. I've mentioned several times, walking blocks on one of the side streets and not seeing one person.
This afternoon someone showed me a photo of a group of workshop participants from around ten years ago. I remembered the workshop and the participants. But the photo appeared to be slightly askew: people were positioned differently from my memory.

When I got home, it struck me that I also a photo of the workshop. I have a very meager supply of photos, and I keep them in a wooden box. I opened the box and shifted through a few photos on the top. Then staring me in the face was a series of photos of a slightly intoxicated me sporting a very engorged penis.

Talk about repression. I'd totally blanked these photos out. But there they were. I remember the occasion, but I thought there were only one or two photos. I'm glad I didn't take the box to work. "Oh, here. Just look in here. I know the photo from the workshop is in there somewhere."

By the way, I did find the photo. And it indeed is different. As though it was taken 30 seconds later.

"Big Brother 5" has started. Obviously people were chosen who rank high on the eye-candy scale. And there are a number of lucious bodies. But the program is so dorky that it is hard to watch. Lucious bodies or not.

"The Amazing Race" is back. Stud muffin #1 was eliminated the first week. Stud muffin #2 was eliminated last week.

Because of the nature of the race, I've found guys on TAR to be far more intersting than those on BB. BB is all about posturing and back-stabbing. TAR is more about skill and craftiness. A gorgeous body or two is a nice extra.
