BUSY! BUSY! BUSY!

Wow! It's been a busy, busy week.

Friday night, me and Geri went over to Terry and Mike's for Mike's birthday bash. The place was packed. Friends from Atlanta, New Orleans and Houston were there to wish Mikey a Happy B-DAy.

You'll never guess what Ter gave Mike. Are you ready? A week's vacation in KEY WEST! One of those clothing optional places. Just you and the boy friend and the surf, sand and sun. Lucky boy! They've got it scheduled for around Thanksgiving! Instead of turkey, it'll be sea bass and oysters. And you know what they say oysters are supposed to do for you.

I got to meet this really cool hunk who works for CNN in Atlanta. Dark blue eyes, biceps that would not quit, raven-black hair. And one of the sweetest guys I've ever met. Geri said we should try to hunk-nap him and take him home with us.

I knew Bruce, Lamar, Zeke, and Andre from the party after the Mirage Mirage concert in April in Nashville. Great guys. Wish they lived nearer by.

Saturday, Rich and a bunch of friends and enemies helped him to move him into his new condo on Greenabbey Lake. Awesome condo with two terraces, a hot tub, four bedrooms and even a workout room. But Jeeze is he a long way out. At least a 45 minutes trip to work.

As we were moving Rich, Dale and Marty were busy moving into Rich's old apartment. They didn't have nearly the stuff that Rich did, so it was a lot easier.

After everything was shifted, us guys went out to a movie. Trying grabbing money from guys for 16 tickets to see "Scooby Doo." Then try giving out the tickets. A dozen of the guys wanted a BIGGIE pop corn tub. Then add 7 cokes, six waters, 2 root beers and a rasberry tickle. But that ain't nothing compared to trying find a place to sit. Too near, too far, too warm, too cold, on the aisle, not on the aisle. Next time, somebody else will have to be den momma.

Love that Freddy Prinze guy. There was a lot of not so quiet whispering about him during the movie. Yummy! Yummy!

Later that night, a bunch of us went to the new bar - Blue Flame. I danced my butt off until around 3. Then people began to drift off. Geri and me took three or four guys home with us. Everybody finally dozed off around dawn. And then got up for breakfast at 5 pm. Jeeze, how decadent. (Heard that line once in a movie.)

Monday was a full day of work. After that I ran off to the gym to work on those abs. Especially after all that pop corn. Got home in time to study a little for Tuesday night's class. (Still working on that MFA.)

Tuesday was a repeat of Monday, but this time I raced off for three hours of lecture.

Today was a another hectic day at work. Started a new client software project that looks like will take a couple of months.

Great to be able to catch my breath. Gotta go though. Up early in the morning for my fifth flyting lesson. Have to be at the old Watkins field at 6:30.

Ciao!
