Notes from the laundrymat

(Transcribed from notes)
This evening I'm sitting in the laundrymat scribbling away. I thought I'd jot down some tidbits as I wait for the clothes to finish. There's no one around that I can ogle. BUMMER! Tonight there's not even one other guy in the place.

In case I opt not to write I brought along my copy of "The Gay & Lesbian Review" that popped up in the PO box today.

This is the first time I've had all fucking day to relax. I've been e-flooded with web projects, so I'm e-behind and have felt e-pressed for the last few days. When I left work after 6, I think I was beginning to see e-light at the end of the e-tunnel.

If I were home, I'd be watching the Sci-Fi Channel's "The Invisible Man." But not to worry, SF repeats the prime time block starting at 10, so I can catch it then. It has become one of my favorites. I definitely enjoy the lead. (Took me the longest to figure out where I'd seen him before - grad assistant in "The Prey.) He has that really sexy nerf-herder look that makes me want to herd his nerf.

When I got home, I looked for a shipment from Amazon.com, but no such luck. Tuesday I ordered three books - "Simple Justice : A Benjamin Justice Mystery," "Conjuring the Flesh: An Erotic Sci-Fi Novel," and "Bound in Blood : The Erotic Journey of a Vampire." Cheap and tawdry, I knew.

Then on Wednesday, I ordered the two CDs I mentioned Tuesday. "Parce Mimi Domino" by the Hilliard Ensemble on "Officium." "Ny Batteri" by Sigur Ros on "Agaetis Byrjun." I also threw in Radiohead's "Amnesiac."

[Real Time Pause]
Jesus Christ! The laundry has been invaded by wee infants playing tag. A brood of multi-ethnic, multi-racial, multi-cultural munchkins screaming and yelling. It's like a fucking episode of "Sesame Street." Now, they're crawling across the floor and making frog noises! If Miss Piggy were here, she'd know what to do.
[End of Pause]

(Later)
Home again, home again. At last. And I'm sitting here watching "The Invisible Man." And the lead has on this clingy long-sleeve shirt that resembles something thermal. Woof! Woof!

PAX!
