journal - 2001-0521 - mon 2030 Two Delicious Men An indifferent day. One in which there were no exciting adventures. Nor did I experience any incredible insights. At this point, it seems almost blank. Within a few minutes of finishing last night's entry, I watch "Further Tales of the City." Again, it struck me that it may be trying to cover too much territory. Since I didn't see "More Tales," this is my first encounter with the actor playing Michael. Gads! What a delicious boy! I love the idea of having a character who is so very sexy, yet also so unpresupposing. No swagger or posturing. Did I say delicious? As usual last night, I couldn't sleep, which means I was back in the living room after about 20 minutes of tossing in bed. After punching buttons on the remote, I discovered "Fight Club." Certainly a movie which you either love or can not stand. As I've mentioned before, I like Ed Norton. I really like Ed Norton. There is something about those ordinary-guy features that attracts me. But on another level, I'm drawn to his sense of creativity and dedication. Of the five or six movies of his I've seen, I've been impressed with his ability and style in each case. In the first one he did, the name of which excapes me, he plays a suscept with a supposed dual personality. It is mesmerizing to watch the shift from one personality to the other. No change of makeup, no camera tricks, no histrionics, just subtle alterations in the body language. Essentially, another delicious man. That's it. PAX!
