Chief Bozo; "Fooled You!"; " 'Bread and Circuses' for the 21st Century!"; qlerty, wo04dp, kdxm29

I think I'm becoming dyslexic. I keep reading phrases, and they keep coming out scrambled. Amazon.com has been in the news lately, and every time I read the CEO's name, Jeff Bezos, it comes out Chief Bozo.

One of my cats is trying to psych me out. Athena has a certain routine she goes through whenever she sees a bug: her body stiffens, her pupils dilate, her ears swivel and her stare becomes laser-like. Last night, she was on my sofa table, casually looking around when she went into bug-alarm-mode with her eyes fixed on the door behind me. I immediately figured there was a creepy-crawlie preparing to dive-bomb my right ear, so I quickly looked up and behind me. I carefully scanned the door and wall but saw nothing. When I turned back, she was back to normal but looking at me with what I would call a feline version of a "bemused smirk." As if to say, "Fooled You!"

Dirk, the latest victim of "Survivor" was on ET this evening. He seemed to be fine exhibiting no ill effects from his jungle living. As I mentioned last night, I thought he might be ill.
ET also mentioned the upcoming CBS series, "Big Brother." I've heard of this for a couple of months. It appears to be sorta like a cross between "Real World" on steroids and a 40s Alcatrez movie. "Bread and Circuses" for the 21st century!
