A Very Rare Early Morning Entry

A Very Rare Early Morning Entry

I'd love to say I'm feeling better, but I can't. In fact, I felt terrible yesterday with a dull headache that would not go away. And I slept very fitfully. So I've decided to spend the day at home. But I needed to take the AM dose of antibiotics, decongestants and antidepressants, which must be taken with food. Buttered toast and blackberry jam was the best I could do, since my fridge is always barren. And I needed to send the necessary e-mail to work.

While I was here, I thought a quick journals-read-scan might be in order, so I hit Keith Cam. His journal is always a delight, and the pics are not bad either. When I finished the most recent entry, I looked around and thought a brief entry of my own might not hurt.

Minerva is on the sofa table attacking the crumbs on the plate I just put down. She believes that anything I eat was some how intended for her, so I have to guard my food most zealously. Grae is on the table looking out the window, seemingly ignoring my existence. Have you noticed how many times you've seen paintings with cats, and the cats are always looking away from the artist? Now I know why.

Enough of this. Back to bed. I can feel the headache trying to return.

PAX!
