contours provocations
journal - 1999-0913 - mon 1900 journal | archives | home | e-mail What a day! First guy, "Murray was an optimist!" Second guy, "Murray! Who is Murray!" First guy, "Murray! You know, like 'Murray's Law' - if it can go wrong, it will go wrong!" Second guy, "Oh! You mean Murphy! It's 'Murphy's Law!' " First guy, "See!!! See, what I mean!" Well! That was how my day went. And I'm amazed that I'm not sitting here screaming and yelling expletives. I do have a headache that I know is the result of tension. OK! OK! Enough whining! On to frivolity, jocularity and mirth. (I've always thought that the "Girth and Mirth" term was a hoot! Almost as good as the name of the combination Chinese restaurant and gay bar called "The Big Wok"!) I saw a grape-coloured dump truck today. Has "grape" become a butch colour? Aren't dump trucks supposed to be rugged, macho, tough. What next, "mauve" fire trucks? Last night, I added another "rain speak" entry. I was hoping this area would be easier. But I've only found a handful of rain images that I really like. I do believe that I've gotten my first journal reference at another source. Jump over to http://members.tripod.co.uk/This_Life/ (No longer available.) look under links, and there I be. Blessings on thee, Richard! You're a jewel. PAX!
