I don't remember anything

Last night's storms re-introduced lower mercury today and a brisk breeze. Even with Mother Sun's presence it was nippy.

My powers of observation were null and void today. I don't remember anything. I know that is caused by having an office in the sunless basement. Maybe I'll get an office in the new building under construction. Of course that may take several years at the rate their going.

I've started to re-read Lawrence Durrell's "Justine." His first book in the "Alexandria Quartet." It is not a book based on plot, far more so on characters and ideas. It is very much a "European novel." But the delineation of ideas and emotions is a marvel. It could be described as an examination of the emotional and cognitive aspects of what is perceived to be love.

Maybe tomorrow will bring exciting observations.

PAX!
