  • Bouncing ball that you can ride or watch, with variable gravity (120 kbytes)
Simulate the gravity of Earth, Moon, Mars, Jupiter, an asteroid, the Sun (there are presets for them and many more). The ball can drop from 1 to 10,000 feet. Bounciness is variable, too, from "thud" to "very".
You can ride the ball (!) as it bounces, or watch the action from the ground or air. (Bouncing in lunar gravity, or falling 10,000 feet at 100 g's, is interesting.) It has OpenGl graphics, too, just like video games.

  • Digital stopwatch (100 kbytes)
(What to say about a well-behaved stopwatch?) Uh, it measures time real good, and is easy to use. You can use Function keys to Start/Stop and Reset, since mouses are so clumsy when time is critical. Run several at once if you need to, each can have a different title.

  • Random sentence generator (100 kbytes)
Makes grammatically correct random sentences from a file of words. It comes with files for Pirates, Soap Opera, Food, and Old-Fashioned Patriotic Speech...
    • Soap Opera: "The nervous limousine hopefully and innocently phoned a Senator's art-gallery." and "An illegal and wealthy painting secretly and stylishly telegrammed."
    • Pirates: "Drunkenly a pegleg ordered a brass crows nest." and "The laughing rowboat waved after the storm-tossed parrot heartily." Aarrggh!
    • Food: "Carelessly the boiling milk beat the delicious cornbread intently" and "The onions thoroughly boiled gently and again."

(I got the idea from Douglas Hofstadter's book Godel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid. When I read that, I knew programming could be interesting and began to find out more about it)
