Who is Bob Bennett?

To tell you the truth, I had never heard of and never heard the music of Bob Bennett, the singer, songwriter, guitarist extraordinaire, and poet until recently, relatively speaking. American Family Radio has been giving "Small Graces" a lot of airplay lately. (Thank the Lord for CD's! If I had played an old timey album as much as I have his CD "Small Graces", it would be so scratchy I'd have had to order another one!!)

Not that I am anybody special but like a lot of other people, I believe I can recognize real talent when I hear it. This fellow is the best Contemporary Christian artist, in my opinion, that I have heard yet. Or would it be folk Contemporary Artist??

Since hearing Bob Bennett's music for the first time a 3 years ago, can't adequately answer the question I posed about him, except that his lyrics are meaty and real, his voice is rich and full, and his guitar playing is crisp and clean and intricate.
