Now the only thing left is to decide what to do with these things. The original plan was to connect them to the Rodgers 340, however since that will be replaced at some time in the future it might make more sense to sell these for installation in a pipe organ and stick with the digital sampled sounds.
I have just finished building a set of reproduction Robert Morton Theatre Organ Percussions. These consist of the following:
Bass drum with Tymp Beater, crash Cymbal and Rhythm Cymbal.
Snare Drum with reit and muffler.
1 ea. triple action with Sleigh Bells, Tambourine and Castanets.
1 ea. triple action with Wood Block, Tom Tom and Train Bell.
1 ea 4 port chest with a Police Whistle, Train Whistle, Acme Siren and Bird Whistle.
On the frame is mounter a 30 note set Glockinspeil operated with 24 volt magnets.
The system includes a 24" x 30" R/M reproduction Regulator.
The whole thing is powered by a brushless high speed blower providing 10 inches of regulated wind.
