Education:  Hillcrest Christian School, graduated 12th grade, 1996.   Hinds Community College in pre-veterinary curriculum.  Graduated from  Mississippi State University with BS in Animal and Dairy Science, December, 2000.    Entered grad school for spring semester, 2001.  Member of Block & Bridle Club, pledge officer during 99-00 year, President for 00-01 year.

 Employment:  Previously worked at Standing Pine Nursery, at a local veterinary hospital, and for a Starkville area cattle rancher.  Worked on MSU’s South Farm in the sheep and beef units. Worked full-time as a herdsman for the Swine Unit on MSU's South Farm until this unit was closed.  Now works full-time as herdsman for the Equine Unit on MSU's South Farm.

Avocations:   History (also member of Sons of Confederate Veterans, especially interested in exploits of Gen. Nathan Bedford Forrest).  Hunting (especially deer hunting) and bow-fishing.  Keeping up with his energetic Blue Heeler/Aussie Shepherd,  Rhett (puppy pic below;  Riding his horse.

New info:  Bryant got married in October, 2003, to Sarah Wallace.  Will post pix of the newlyweds soon.

Likes:  MUSIC — country music (George Jones, George Strait, Merle Haggard, Chris Ledoux, and David Allen Coe), MOVIES — western or historical movies (Gettysburg, Outlaw Josey Wales, and anything with John Wayne),  TV — Dukes of Hazzard, the Sharpe series on PBS.  RADIO — The Big Show with John Boy and Billy.

Dislikes:  Anything promoting anti-hunting, gun control, or political correctness.
