Genealogy
For at least the last 125 years both the Anderson and Bryant families have lived in Amite County, Mississippi. The Bryants moved from Wilkinson County sometime after the War Between the States. The Andersons have apparently been there since the early 1800s.
Anderson Family Genealogy
The Anderson Family genealogy is still incomplete as I don't have many of the dates associated with some members and don't have information on collateral ancestry lines. I have recently added some significant information on the first generation to be in Mississippi. What I have is published below in a multigenerational tree. Bryant Family Genealogy
I have a bit more information on several generations of the Bryant family. The earliest family members for which I have information were in Wilkinson County, Mississippi. The family moved to Amite County, Mississippi, near Gloster sometime after the War Between the States. I have begun a project on the Bryant family involving the printing and mailing of a "newsletter" to all my cousins in hopes of getting fill-in info on some of the detailed information. This has met with some success and the pdf file below contains all info I've received as of January, 2002.
