The mail list is available in two formats, "mail mode" and digest. In the "mail mode" the subscriber receives every message posted to the list as an individual email message shortly after it is sent.

In the digest, several messages posted to the list may be consolidated and periodically sent as a single email message to the subscriber. The frequency and number of email messages received in the digest will vary with the size and frequency of posts to the list.
