Theatre Cards

The person who taught me the most I ever learned about theatre always said that you should read one new play a week for the rest of your life in the business. Although I might skip a week here and there I still say this is the best practice in that it gives you the maximum amount of exposure to what's out there to work with.

Theatre cards aren't really reviews as such since they don't reference a specific performance. They are a way to make notes on the plays you've read so that at some future time you can look back on what you wrote and remember the details of a play--and maybe try to convince somebody to let you put it on someplace.

*WARNING* Theatre cards give away the ending of the play so don't read the synopsis if you want to be surprised.

My goal at this point is to post a new card every three weeks, but I hope to pick up the pace once it gets going.
