Forrest Ackerman with his King Kong collection including the stegosaurus and brontosaurus animation models. This photo gives a good representation of how large the models actually are. Notice the red tube under the Stego's tail. That was used to inflate a bladder in its stomach to make the model look like it was breathing.
O'Brien created this drawing to help sell his idea for a proposed King Kong Vs. Frankenstein film that never was made.
