Prozac Reaction Search Number Two

"I quit prozac a few days/weeks/months ago and don't feel so good. I heard about withdrawals. I think I'm having panic attacks and I seem to cry at the drop of a hat.."

1. The keywords here are "withdrawal", "panic" and "cry". I want to start with one of the package inserts as this will give me the premarketing clinical trial data that the drug manufacturer submitted to the FDA. (I've included multiple links in case one or more links is down.)

2. At random I pick the first link (fairlite.com).

3. I click on Find (it's the binoculars button next to the red Stop button.) In the Find dialogue box I type "withdrawal" and click the Find Next button.

4. This time there is no match from the sample insert. I repeat step 3. checking for "panic" (no match) and "cry" (one for a baby nursing from it's mother while she's on prozac -- not what I'm looking for).

5. I go back to my homepage and scroll down to adverse reactions.

6. I click on common reactions and use the find button again to repeat step 3 for "withdrawal", (no match), "panic", (no match) and "cry". For cry I get a match, but it's the reverse of what I'm feeling.

Wait a minute. Those are reactions to people currently taking prozac.

7. I go back to the adverse reactions section of the homepage. Ah, there's a link to withdrawals.

8. So I've got a match on "withdrawal" in the link itself. I click on the withdrawals link, do a Find (step 3) on "cry" and there it is.

A Find on "panic" shows panic attacks. Unfortunate that it's anecdotal reports, but at least I know I'm not alone with these weird symptoms that popped out of nowhere.
