Prozac Reaction Search Number One.
"I'm taking prozac now and I've started feeling really weak and shakey."
The keywords here are "weak" and "shakey".
1. I want to start with one of the package insert links on my homepage, as this will give me the premarketing clinical trial data that the drug manufacturer submitted to the FDA. (I've included multiple links in case one or more links are down.)

2. At random I pick the second link (rxlist.com) and get their prozac page.

3. I click on Find (it's the binoculars button next to the red Stop button.) In the Find dialogue box I type "weak" and click the Find Next button.

4. This shows the first and only instance of the word weak(ness) at the top left. (When you do searches with the Find Next button be sure to keep clicking it until you get a Search String Not Found box. Many entries have multiple matches.)

5. I drag (put cursor over the blue Find bar, hold down left button and move mouse) the Find dialogue box out of the way and scroll up some.

Ok. Weakness is one of the symptoms.
6. Hmm, right next to weakness is tremor. Doesn't that mean shakey? I go back to the homepage and click on Prozac Dictionary...and Survivor Slang.

7. I get the top of the dictionary. (Be sure to read the stuff at the top.) Again I use the Find button, enter "tremor", click Find Next button and move the dialogue box out of the way. (Repeat steps 3-5.)

That's it. Weakness and tremor are listed by the drug manufacturer in clinical trials as adverse reactions. I know that others have had similar reactions. I know I'm not going nuts, it's just the drug. Repeat steps 3-5 for all symptoms, steps 6-7 for medical definitions. I would also want to check the anecdotal evidence, especially if I found no matches in the sample insert. To see how to do that click Back to Prozac FAQ below, and go to example 2.
